He should remove his cache folder in his garrysmod folder.

Go to Options in the GMod main menu, and click on the Multiplayer tab. Find the drop-down menu at the bottom-right hand corner of the window and it'll probably say 'Do not download any custom files'.

This didnt work, Ah well we will just be searching and Modifying for a couple of days
