Stuck on a download bar. - SpitfireGaming - 02-11-2015
I've tried to connect multiple times, but the bar goes to this ( http://gyazo.com/7e077e5a5bf6ac26cce25394ec9ed1dd ) and stays there on all servers I try. It says "Downloading materials/icon32/arrow_redo.png.bz2" if you don't want to open the link. I've tried 3 times, waited 10 minutes on each, but it will not download. This was not happening earlier, when v33x got DDoSed again. What should I do?

Have you tried to download the CityRP Workshop content yet?

You could try COMPLETELY removing Gmod(Since it doesn't remove the addons), and then re-install it with the FL contents, see what happens.
Also does it keep saying "Downloading materials/icon32/arrow_redo.png.bz2" ? Or does it keep cycling through a random list? Cause i had this issue like 7 months ago where i was stuck on the loading screen forever, it never joined, but it mysteriously fixed itself after a couple of months. Nothing else i know of that you can try mate, sorry.

Yes, I have downloaded it. As I said, it was working for me earlier. Right now I'm trying to redownload everything, including the CityRP Workshop packs, HL2, and CSS.

Tandy it's stuck on downloading that specific thing, nothing is moving.

Oh, another though just came to me, what if there is a buggy add on which you have that is stopping you from joining? Try installing NOTHING but the FL:RP content and see what happens.

Go into the multiplayer settings and turn off downloads. Download the cityrp workshop content and also try downloading content here:

Report back once you've done it. Make sure you disable everything else too. Make sure you restart GMod (People forget).
