[Answered]Question concerning the legality of using simple binded scripts - Avgar - 11-19-2014

Question: Is it legal to use simple scripts binded to keys? I am almost completely sure that it is not possible to detect whether someone is using them or not as they are utterly client-side, but I'd like to know simply for clarity sake and the possibility of sharing them.

Examples:
  • Press TAB to TOGGLE scoreboard.
  • Press CTRL to TOGGLE ducking.
  • Press SHIFT to TOGGLE sprinting.

I cant see why it shouldnt be illegal. Your examples are merely personal preferece from some and the staff shouldnt be able to enforce that

Allowed, the server checks on its side your stamina etc. So even if you toggle it, it will stop running after stamina is used.
