If you want to buy a car you save more then only 1.5k.
Please write how high your budget is and then you can negotiate.

Well I was told that 2nd hand cars normally sell for 3/5 of their original price but I'll happily bend either way a few grand. Money isn't really an issue and my budget is sufficient enough to cover both items.

You can sell is for 1k less then the normal price, but then people won't buy it
Take 15-25% off from the buy price. Or a auction with bids for the car.
