If it's yours you can sell it. You can still sell it if it's not yours and is in a public folder, however you're a real prick then.

Like Jan said you are being a bit of a "Prick" if you are selling a dupe from the public folder but you can sell it.

Can we get a definitive answer? I have seen a BR for scamming denied even though someone sold a dupe from the public folder.

Selling a public dupe open to the entire server for profit is definitely a scam and I think that should be prohibited.
