Laptops - LoneWolf - 09-14-2013 So, I have been looking to upgrade my laptop. I am out for suggestions, but this is what I have in mind [Image: five_pictures1_2240_20110610151321.jpg] Screen Size: 15.6 inches Screen Resolution: 1920 x 1080 Max Screen Resolution: 1920 x 1080 pixels Processor: 3.2 GHz Intel Core i7-4700MQ RAM: 16 GB DDR3 Memory Speed: 1600 MHz Hard Drive: 1 TB SATA Graphics Coprocessor: NVIDIA Geforce GTX780M Graphics Card Ram Size: 4000 MB Wireless Type: 802.11bgn Number of USB 2.0 Ports: 2 Number of USB 3.0 Ports: 3 The only reason I am getting a laptop is because I am moving around a lot, and I don't feel like lugging a tower around with me. Constructive Criticism appreciated. Suggestions appreciated as well. If possible, keep it under 2,000 RE: Laptops - Nathan - 09-14-2013 get a trolley for your tower and you can take it everywhere... RE: Laptops - Joykill - 09-14-2013 Looks like a great choice harware-wise. Don't expect games to run 60+ fps on ultra, but still a solid choice. Are you kidding me? He can run practically anything ultra at 60 fps with that card. The 780m is the best laptop graphics card out there so far. Not like you can put a titan in a laptop. To LoneWolf, that laptop is a monster. You will be fine for years, especially if you aren't running extremely intensive games. Good luck and have fun with it! |
