Tweaking the movement system - DoomDude1 - 06-30-2013 Title of Suggestion: Tweaking the movement system Description: Basically making it so the default movement system is walking. The "jog" (default right now) is a tad unrealistic, where do you see an entire city jogging left and right. The sprint would stay the same. The energy requirements should be tweaked a bit, just so the jog slowly depletes your energy, let's say at a 50% rate of the sprint. Just switch it so: Default is walking, Alt is jogging and Shift remains sprinting. Why: Would just help the city look like a better place. New players would actually contribute more with their presence, as they would just walk around. I just see no reasons why not to input this. RE: Tweaking the movement system - Jono - 06-30-2013 +support Couldn't agree more. RE: Tweaking the movement system - Nathan - 06-30-2013 +support Also maybe change the running speed when you run backwards as its the same as running forwards as this is unrealistic as well. RE: Tweaking the movement system - Arxxy - 06-30-2013 +support This could be helpful so you dont seen someone suddenly jog onto the road. This would add lots more realism RE: Tweaking the movement system - Kpred - 06-30-2013 +support Don't see any reason why it shouldn't already be in use. RE: Tweaking the movement system - Rylund - 06-30-2013 +support. Simple why :p RE: Tweaking the movement system - Johnny the Hedgehog - 07-01-2013 +support Personally, always wanted to figure out how to walk in Gmod, but this changes everything. RE: Tweaking the movement system - Night2078 - 07-01-2013 +Support RE: Tweaking the movement system - Enzyme - 07-01-2013 +Support. Yes, oh yes. RE: Tweaking the movement system - Dwip - 07-01-2013 + support Don't see why not. More realistic. |
