Every time server crashes - Tink - 02-20-2013
Hello my name is Tink my pc is pretty old and is on windows Xp
Every time I try to join a fearless rp server it crashes closes g mod and pops up with a hl2 engine error. I have the content for v2d but still it says hl2 engine error I need help urgently because I am in love with this server

Have you been touching files which you shouldn't touch within the GMOD folder ? and did you correctly install the content needed?
It would also be helpful if you can answer this - Can you join other servers ?

I deleted some maps not evocity maps and I can't join v2pand I can't join v33x
Erm I have v2d content but It didn't make a difference it still crashes and pops up hl2 engine error
I'm getting a gaming computer for my birthday which is on the 16 of march

I dowliaded the content put it in addons folder and extracted it

You might be having some issues with DirectX.
Try installing the latest version or something.

Uninstall and re-install gmod and run a cleanup program? I used to have issues like these but I don't quite know what I did to fix it. I think it was basically uninstalling and reinstalling gmod along with the program.
