Connection Issue - GhostRider - 12-13-2012
Hello all,
I am having a problem while connecting to v2d and I wondered if someone could help me with it.
While joining to v2d my game stuck on "Retrieving Server Info".
If I connect to v2p or v33x it works fine.
Any idea what cause this?

The server was being ddosed at that time. Everyone was lagging badly. I saw you join and disconnect via the chat

Yeah same problem here, V2D got ddosed extremely bad and the server literally broke

If that is still happening do not worry because my game freezes on retrieving server info all the time,just wait and then boom you will be at sending client info any moment but if it is takin too long then use task manager to see if there is a tab saying "Hl2.exe has been closed" or a loading bar saying "Hl2.exe is not responding". That's when you know you garrysmod has stopped working and you need to restart.
