constant strange music, v33x - daddy rool - 11-28-2012
so im trying to play on v33x server, and ive got this constant sounds playing, really loud, it almost sounds like the menu music for l4d or some zombie game... really annoying, anyone know what to do? ive tried stopsound in console, but it comes straight back
done a bit of hunting, think it is haloween sounds?

Yeah, I get this on v2p and v33x. I believe it is to do with enabling Half Life 2; Episode 2 on Garry's Mod. Ever since I activated it, these strange sounds began playing. Zombie sounds, UFO sounds etc. I find 'stopsounds' in console hard because I get these sounds every thirty seconds or so. One fix is removing Half Life 2 from Garry's Mod but you will loose textures or just live with it.
The console saves every command. Use Tab to flick through your commands, this can be a quicker way of removing the sounds using 'stopsound'
