Garry's Fixed the Sound Problem - GeorgeTheBoy - 09-23-2012
Garry has said that a patch has been sent to Valve to fix all the problems caused by the last update (no sound, random crashes etc). Unfortunately, with it being the weekend, there is no one at Valve to push the patch out. So it'll likely be fixed tomorrow.

They are up and the sounds, spawnicons and crashes are solved by Garry.
