Me too, freakin' annoying. What is up with Steam? Happened to me yesterday too.

I get this too, sometimes its even just 5-10 minutes to launch a game. What I did is went to Task Manager and stopped the Process of Steam. I then restarted it, launched GMOD and it worked right away, after I had done my session of playing, a while later, I wanted to play GMOD again and it wasnt working, so I repeated the process and it hard worked. for now, this works for me, I just wish garry would officially release the game and stop with these updates.
