RE: DayZ, tips for beginners? - Dr Tomorrow - 12-25-2012

So far I haven't met any Agressive players at all
It seems that people love trading
Quite hard to find Vehicle parts though...
Some people even rescued my on their helicopter (although I didn't asked to be rescued), while been crawling out on field with broken bone, nearly no blood and high temperature
They treated me and then left me
Yeah, cities are damn dangerous though
Seems like unlike WarZ, bandits can spare you if you give them all your loot away
Never found a damn map...

My final words:
DayZ is much better than WarZ
I love it
But yeah, playing survival games alone is a lot of a risk
Maybe I will try Wasteland this weekend

And thanks everyone for your tips!
Although they are completely same tips for WarZ :p

Get on wasteland instead of DayZ. I will keep brainwashing you until you come on

Personally, I find that surviving solo is easier, you don't have to worry about someone else going dying on you, or be expecting a bullet in the back. Plus: More loot for you. Cheese

RE: DayZ, tips for beginners? - Dr Tomorrow - 12-29-2012

Unlike hackers in WarZ, killing each and everyone and making loot disappear, yesterday, a group of hackers found me and given me all the best equipment possible and have me plane as a Christmas gift Cheese

There's too much loot in DayZ, just a single trip to elektro will give you loot to last several hours.

Best tip? Remember, no Russian..

But seriously, have a map from -http://dayzmap.info/
open in the backround, get to know the map, as after all 'Knowing is the key to survival'

1. Uninstall DayZ.

2. Install ArmA 2: A.C.E and all of the extra packs.

3. Install S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

4. Alternate between the 2 games.
