you can skype your friend and talk while playing you just cant GET CAUGHT exchanging in character information in a scenario where the information is not passable, which you shouldn't be doing regardless. You can still talk OOC though.

As previously mentioned you're of course allowed to skype with your friend whilst both playing on an FL server.
However you're not allowed to exchange IC information such as your location, that you're being mugged, and the list goes on and on.
