Double doors are from the devil. This is a double door just like any other.

Indeed, it might be open or not, it's still a double door.
Anyways let's forget his 'usefull addon', it's now impossible to use it.

Uh well double door what are you talking about?
If there is enough space between the two doors it would be perfectly fine, you can't put it directly behind the gate, just like 2 meteres or something behind it, in my opinion that would be fine, if there are no more doors after that, e.g. at the elevator or stairs.
