Since the new GMod update with the new steam configuration, on trying to connect to the server, it says I am missing rp_evocity_v2d.bsp
Can I just re-download this or must it require a fix?

EDIT:
Gmod has changed its folder directory from \steamapps\username\garrysmod\ to \steamapps\common\GarrysMod
And I just transferred the addons and maps over to there and it works. I've put a support topic out as well for other people who had the same problem as me.

Answer: They are basically the same map but V33x is more detailed and a little bigger

i cant join v2p it says missing map but i installed it correctly

EDIT: oo0spyder0oo just posted that gmod has changes its directory to common instead of username this made it work (THANKS SPYDER!)

Steampipe moved your folder to Steamapps - Common - Gmod. Put the map here.

That's an old install video.
Now you need everything to be in Steamapps > Common > Garrysmod > garrysmod.
That SHOULD solve it
