About us

Blackwatch

Blackwatch are a Private Military Organization, we specialize in the protection and safety of our clients and never turn down a mission, no matter how risky it may be. Think of us as organised Mecenaries, we will do any job as long as it involves us getting paid. We usually dispatch 3-4 people to your location, as well as a mercenary organization we combat Biohazardous situations, whether that be a virus or a toxic leak in an area. Blackwatch will be there to assist.

Blackwatch were originally a regular military garrison based in Fort Detrick, Maryland; they were the ones called in to contain the outbreak of Redlight in Hope. During the military suppression of the Redlight virus, the virus nearly advanced beyond the point "of no return". However Blackwatch shelled the town, and regained control. After Hope had been sterilized, Blackwatch was formed to suppress future outbreaks of biological weapons, both man-made and natural. General Randall was put in charge of the unit after his actions in Hope lead to the successful elimination of the virus threat located there.

Gentek

Gentek is a biological and genetic research company founded by Dr. Raymond McMullen on November 1, 1976. Due to his expertise in genetics, Blackwatch contacted him to continue their viral biological weapons research.

Gentek's controversial research, along with Blackwatch's cruel actions has also leaded some civilian who found the truth to become agitators against them, including Dana Mercer and Father Luis Guerra. At first, this doesn't pose as a threat to Gentek and Blackwatch as they are better armed and trained. However, after James Heller, a heavily mutated intelligent infected and test subject, joined the agitators' cause, Gentek and Blackwatch has suffered heavy loss. Many scientists and officers involved in the experiments are killed or consumed, effectively stunning the weaponization.

PRIVATE (PVT/PV2)
Second lowest rank: a trainee who's starting Basic Combat Training (BCT). Primary role is to carry out orders issued to them to the best of his/her ability. (PVT does not have an insignia)

PRIVATE FIRST CLASS (PFC)
PV2s are promoted to this level after one year'or earlier by request of supervisor. Individual can begin BCT at this level with experience or prior military training. Carries out orders issued to them to the best of his/her ability.

SPECIALIST (SPC)
Can manage other enlisted Soldiers of lower rank. Has served a minimum of two years and attended a specific training class to earn this promotion. People enlisting with a four year college degree can enter BCT as a Specialist.

CORPORAL (CPL)
The base of the Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) ranks, CPLs serve as team leader of the smallest Army units. Like SGTs, they are responsible for individual training, personal appearance and cleanliness of Soldiers.

SERGEANT (SGT)
Typically commands a squad (9 to 10 Soldiers). Considered to have the greatest impact on Soldiers because SGTs oversee them in their daily tasks. In short, SGTs set an example and the standard for Privates to look up to, and live up to.

STAFF SERGEANT (SSG)
Also commands a squad (9 to 10 Soldiers). Often has one or more SGTs under their leadership. Responsible for developing, maintaining and utilizing the full range of his Soldiers' potential.

SERGEANT FIRST CLASS (SFC)
Key assistant and advisor to the platoon leader. Generally has 15 to 18 years of Army experience and puts it to use by making quick, accurate decisions in the best interests of the Soldiers and the company.

MASTER SERGEANT (MSG)
Principal NCO at the battalion level, and often higher. Not charged with all the leadership responsibilities of a 1SG, but expected to dispatch leadership and other duties with the same professionalism.

FIRST SERGEANT (1SG)
Principal NCO and life-blood of the company: the provider, disciplinarian and wise counselor. Instructs other SGTs, advises the Commander and helps train all enlisted Soldiers. Assists Officers at the company level (62 to 190 Soldiers).

SERGEANT MAJOR (SGM)
SGMs serve as the chief administrative assistant for a headquarters unit of Blackwatch, but the sphere of influence regarding leadership is generally limited to those directly under his charge. They are key enlisted members of staff elements at levels at Battalion or higher.

COMMAND SERGEANT MAJOR (CSM)
CSMs are the senior enlisted advisors to the commanding officer. They carry out policies and standards, and advise the commander on the performance, training, appearance, and conduct of enlisted soldiers. The CSM's counsel is expected to be calm, settled and unequivocally accurate, but with an energy and enthusiasm that never wanes, even in the worst of times. A CSM is assignable to any level Battalion or higher.

SERGEANT MAJOR OF BLACKWATCH
There's only one Sergeant Major of Blackwatch. This rank is the epitome of what it means to be a Sergeant and oversees all Non-Commissioned Officers. Serves as the senior enlisted advisor and consultant to the Chief of Staff of Blackwatch (a four-star General).

SECOND LIEUTENANT (2LT)
Typically the entry-level rank for most Commissioned Officers. Leads platoon-size elements consisting of the platoon SGT and two or more squads (16 to 44 Soldiers).

FIRST LIEUTENANT (1LT)
A seasoned lieutenant with 18 to 24 months service. Leads more specialized weapons platoons and indirect fire computation centers. As a senior Lieutenant, they are often selected to be the Executive Officer of a company-sized unit (110 to 140 personnel).

CAPTAIN (CPT)
Commands and controls company-sized units (62 to 190 Soldiers), together with a principal NCO assistant. Instructs skills at service schools and combat training centers and is often a Staff Officer at the battalion level.

MAJOR (MAJ)
Serves as primary Staff Officer for brigade and task force command regarding personnel, logistical and operational missions.

LIEUTENANT COLONEL (LTC)
Typically commands battalion-sized units (300 to 1,000 Soldiers), with a CSM as principal NCO assistant. May also be selected for brigade and task force Executive Officer.

COLONEL (COL)
Typically commands brigade-sized units (3,000 to 5,000 Soldiers), with a CSM as principal NCO assistant. Also found as the chief of divisional-level staff agencies.

BRIGADIER GENERAL (BG)
Serves as Deputy Commander to the commanding general for Army divisions. Assists in overseeing the staff's planning and coordination of a mission.

Typically commands division-sized units (10,000 to 15,000 Soldiers).

GENERAL (GEN)
The senior level of Commissioned Officer typically has over 30 years of experience and service. Commands all operations that fall within their geographical area. The Chief of Staff of the Army is a four-star General.

GENERAL OF BLACKWATCH (GOB)
This is only used in time of War where the Commanding Officer must be equal or of higher rank than those commanding armies from other nations. The last officers to hold this rank served during and immediately following the Redlight Incident.

Recruitment Executive - Recruits new members into the corporation, in order to recruit they must set up the recruitment center that is usually based in AM/PM or they can do it directly from headquarters if one is avaliable.

Exile - That person cannot re-enter the clan unless authorized by the general or a veto from other members, usually requires a test to prove they have changed.

Midnight - Complete radio silence, do not talk on the private radio frequency.

Clearance - What access each unit has, whether or not they can enter a certain area. If this is disobeyed, will usually result in an exile.

Red Crown - The codename for the General, when he is giving orders. The red crown basically means that he is wearing the crown because he owns the corporation and it's red because of the blood that has been split. Sometimes applies to the 2nd general if the General isn't online.

Department of Internal Affairs - The Human Resources department of the Blackwatch Corporation, deal with recruitment and exiling the soldiers of the Blackwatch.

Department of Training - The people in this department train the new recruits using the new Blackwatch Training Programme, Codename: ORION Which trains the recruits in the three following areas:
  • Etiquette - How the Agent should behave and act.
  • Weapons and Basic Combat Traning - Where they will learn all the fighting techniques that have been adapted for Blackwatch use over the years.
  • Weapon Safety and Maintainence - How to take apart and maintain their gun whilst on the field or at base.
  • Bio-warfare Usage - When to use bio-weapons and when to stick to traditional weaponry.


Department of Divisional Managemen - The main guys in charge of creating new divisions that could provide Blackwatch with the tactical advatange, they will select Agents who have proven more than useful in battle and assign them as leaders of each separate divisions, the current divisions are as follows:
  • Biological Warfare Command - Leading division in using bio-weapons.
  • Covert Operations - Leading division in using covert tactics to reach an end goal.
  • General Division - The standard division, will be broken up into Bravo and Whiskey.


Department of Control - The Blackwatch Officers will be a part of this department regardless of other departments they work in, this department is in charge of mission control and risk assessment.

Department of Distrubition - Blackwatch officers that are trusted enough to be left with the majority of our supplies, such as weapons and ammunition. When a mission is accepted, distribution agents will distribute the required amount of weapons and ammunition among the soldiers taking part in the operation.

Gentek Corporation - The one department of Blackwatch that is not on the frontlines. This department hire possible new recruits, this department have been called the "Professional" face of Blackwatch. They undergo operations which include the following:
  • Biological Weapons Research
  • Molecular Transfiguartion
  • Virus Development
  • Nuclear Power
  • Genetic Weaponization
  • Viral Weaponization

Upon joining our corporation, you will recieve a Blackwatch ID card. This card will state your name, date of birth and your clearance level. There are three types of clearance which will all be explained below.



Spoiler :
Clearance Level 1 - Established when you are first recruited, giving you access to any Blackwatch building behind the security gate. Usually given to Blackwatch rank recruit - private first class.

Clearance Level 2 - Given to you upon your sergeant promotion, gives you access to the laboratories and meeting rooms. Second highest clearance in the organization.

Clearance Level 3 - For Higher Command only, gives you an access all areas card.

The thing that makes our clan unique is our own private network, where commanding officers can add people to our official database.

BlackNET within itself is a huge change for Blackwatch, instead of updating the megathread all official members will be transferred to this database.

BlackNET will give us ease of access and will give the ability for every recruitment officer we have to make changes to the roster, BlackNET is the new secure and lightweight way of managing our members.
