Blender 3D

Anyone else here use Blender for their 3D Modeling?
Just started out with it, used to use Milkshape 3D when I made some of the Triangle extensions for PHX (always get a smile when I see someone using them ) and a tiny bit of 3DSmax until the student license I nabbed off a teacher expired.

Actually, anyone really use Blender? I always feel alone when I talk about it. <_<

If anyone has a suggestion for what I should model and or has anything of their own, do post it as I would love to see it.
Maybe we can even create some custom FL:RP models? :O

Anyone around here skate?

I own a Loaded Dervish, new model with the keyholes redesigned along with the bottom.

Mine's a fully customized $350 set up with every part modified to some extent. For some odd strange reason, I prefer the trucks to be the loosest possible without it falling off which did result in a close call once (remember to check if the nut is still in before you try that 4 stair <_<).
Fastest I've managed to hit down a hill was probably near 40mph, the speed meter things they have on the bottom on the hill only said 38mph (sooo close that I'm never able to call it for certain, but it felt like I slowed down near the bottom).

I stopped downhilling after I had an accident where I slammed into a car running a stop sign. Was going slower that time (30mph), but still lucky I survived without a helmet and nothing but bruises and scratches (sadly the car wasn't so lucky, but he was at fault for running the sign).

Nowadays I do more flat ground tricks, though with the knee injury I got from biking and various other activities too lengthy to mention, I don't ride as much as I used to.

Anyone else ride? I might upload a "skill video" someday when I get back into it.

About the downtime

As you probably noticed the servers are down for 24 hours now. After a lot of research there is a problem with the dedicated server. The servers fails to boot (startup).

An email has been send to the company we're hosted on, I expect them to solve the problem tomorrow.

For your information your data is safe and will always be since I make backups daily.

First off why did you lock my thread in suggestions so i cant replie ok my replie is the whole mission thing i was talking about was only an example they can do alot more than just that like quarintine an area they dont have to be on 24/7 surveliance on the president like the ss does they can do different stuff ok my whole point of that thread was to make the S.A.S. more accessibile so others could enjoy the fun of doing S.A.S. stuff.

1. Advanced Sirens

This Suggestion is applied to many servers, and adds a cool/realistic police addition.

Instead of the Police Cars just making the siren noise, the sirens will flash red and blue.

Also the Firetruck and Ambulance will have lights added as well.

2. Limousine

Instead of having the Taxi Driver class, maybe a chauffeur class? Requires more hours and the Limo would cost a realistic price? Tinted windows, music in the back? This would make luxury possible.

3. Server Ban Testing

After being banned for breaking the rules, once your ban has expired, you must take a rule quiz. You would be given a 20 Question Form, where you will answer basic questions such as,

"How Long is New Life Rule?" ( 1 minute / 3 minutes / 5 minutes )

"Propclimb is allowed for getting onto rooftops" (Yes/No")

This idea will filter out the newbie minges.

3. Body Bag

After Tranquilizing someone on the game, you can use a purchasable "Body Bag" Which can be used to transport hostages in a more efficient way, by putting them in this bag. It would disallow them the ability to use hands ( which already is blocked by hostage rope ) and it would disallow them to see. Other people would also not know whats in the bag. Good for RP Situations. When you click E on the body bag, it goes back into your inventory and the hostage is removed from it.

*Can also be used to smuggle people into the city?*

4. Wanted List

When a user is /warranted for arrest by the police, he appears in an F1 Category called Wanted List. Users can now have access to a bounty hunter role-play job? They can tranq him and bring him in, for some money of course. In the Wanted List it would have different things relating to the person.

5. In-game map of the City

Most players do no know the certain areas of the map, and having a static model/map of it in the nexus or somewhere public would help users see different areas such as "Industrial Area", or "Lake" and would help them get everywhere.

6. Electric Vehicles

Players could purchase solar panels that plug into the car and charge its petrol. Takes 10 Times as long, but would be efficient, and cheaper.

7. Swat Van

This Van is Bullet Proof. It allows the police / SS to conduct missions without the threat of being shot through the cars. It can fit 5 in the back, 2 in the front?

8. Hostage Bomb

The kidnapper would be able to purchase and place a strap of c4 around a hostage, which would also give them a remote, which could be detonated if you wish. Hostage Rope must be put on the person to put the c4 on. This would allow many RP Situations! Cops could get a bomb-defusal kit, which would destroy the c4 safely. The Bomb would have a 80% chance of exploding when being defused! A Lockpick could be used to take it off but would only have a 20% chance of not detonating.

Hey guys, I am just wondering if any of you are interested in a form of martial arts or some sort of defense program? I mainly wanted to find out if their is anybody that does stuff that is different to your normal life...

I take Ju-Jitsu lessons twice a week, mainly because i used to get bullied at school at one point and ive also been threatened to be knifed and i personally enjoy been able to protect or display mainly because it makes me feel strong but thats not the point. Anyway i am currently Orange belt and undergoing a training program for my World Wide Ju Jitsu & Judo Ground Control Tournament in Manchester this march, i am looking forward to it as ive never been in a tournament like this but im also worried on how easy it is to get injured, last week i dislocated my partners arm just by taking him onto the ground in a simple move.

Any of you guys got anything interesting?

Title of Suggestion: Vehicle damage

Description: Well, we all know that people drive recklesly bumping into other cars and walls just because they can... but what if there was a damage bar on the cars like the petrol one, that decreases every time the car has a crash, so that people dont go need for speed style, and when the bar gets to 0 the car would be totaled and would go into flames, since the fireman dont really have much action around :/.
It could be added a some sort of repair station somewhere in the map so players could fix there cars.

Why: Because of the reckless driving going on and the fact that fireman don't have much action to rp with.
