Today we got a new hosting. It's a hosting in Germany, which isn't that far away from the United Kingdom. For some reason Gametracker says it's in Korea, but that is wrong.

We got rid of those failing guys from the old hosting, I won't mention their name, since except for the downtime, their hardware was nice.

The new dedicated server is even better than the previous one. With a more stable network and a faster dedi, the server will be more stable. In theory.

The IP's of the servers are:

cityrp.fearlessrp.net:27015
cityrp.fearlessrp.net:27030

As you probably noticed it is a domain instead of a IP. This is to remember it more easy.

These are the specs:
Intel® Core™ i7-2600 Quadcore incl. Hyper-Threading-Technology
16 GB DDR3 RAM
2 x 3TB SATA6 Gb/s HDD 7200 rpm Software-RAID 1
Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard Edition

We've experienced some awful lag caused by a DDoS attack. When the attack happened I got a mail from my host that my server was getting attacked and that someone takes a look at it. That's what I call support. The attack was like 20 minutes long.

Edit: Aargh attack starting again. Sad

Wow, support sounds good then. Much better than before when we were left hanging forever..

Hopefully they'll sort it out pretty well. The larger companies don't take to DDoS' kindly.
