Wouldn't 900 FPS be very slow?

Yes yes.. Very slow indeed Smile

Well, no. Not really, that's how FPS works but not refresh rate. The most typical refresh rate on modern monitors is 60Hz which means your monitor only refreshes 60 times every second which equates to 60FPS therefore 900FPS on a 60Hz monitor will still only look like 60FPS. However if you use a better monitor, something that can refresh at 120Hz or 144Hz you will see either 120FPS or 144FPS not 900FPS therefore it will not appear slow just a hell of a lot smoother. (Also sorry for probable bad wording, I'm very tired atm)

I get your point. But if I go to nvidia control panel and turn vsync off and ingame turn it off. it will then show over 60Fps. Thats what I did. it just uses shitloads of the processor to run 1 game.

I know this! Anything over 60fps isn't really needed anyway. Not to mention the screen tearing you get at FPS like that
