It appears there has been a bug in Windows10 where it would keep certain settings enabled after you have disabled them.

So how do you know it's actually turned off (for real)?
because a little slider says it's off?

I have turned certain things off in Win7 only to find it's still on when digging through the system.

I want to see proof that this is the case. I trust that those settings are going to be well and truly off when I turn them off. If you are going to be crazy paranoid about it, then feel free to stay on Windows 7. I hope you also don't use iOS, Android, or OSX as each will do at least some of the same things that you criticize Windows 10 for.
