Would just like to bump this, with Faustie's post in mind.

It also means that there's an actual purpose to suppressed weapons; if we made normal gunshots quieter, there would be no reason to buy the mods. As it is, if you try and raid stealthily without a suppressor people will know very quickly, whereas with a suppressor there's a great deal of difference, especially with some of the higher-end ones.

This would make the removal of the beeping sound upon killing with a silenced weapon even more relevant, and using silenced weapons would be incredibly viable, evermore than before.
