Last night I had to reinstall gmod because everytime I opened it, hl2.exe would immediately crash on startup, now when I join a server, my microphone stops working and nobody can hear me ingame and on skype, ts3, etc. In the Windows sound menu, in the recording tab, my microphone becomes "currently unavailable", but then works fine when I close garry'smod.
I don't know what to do, I've tried searching for a fix but I can't find anything relevant, has anybody had this problem before?
