So I'm paying for 100/100 mbit/s internet. But I only get around 10 while my mother gets 97 on her computer.

The company who is offering this internet says it's my computer is blocking internet. So is this true? How can I solve this? I only have one security program...

Have you done a speedtest, or is that just in general use? And what antivirus are you using?
With all due respect,

Check your firewall settings in AVG. But, I can't see your anti-virus blocking your internet.

Are you using a wireless or wired connection?

wired.

What should I check in my firewall?

Check what programs are allowed through. Also check to make sure it is not restricting your browser.

Also, if you have µTorrent or any other torrent program open make sure to close it as it impacts your bandwidth massively.

The firewall is not blocking my browser, neither is my µTorrent on.. Can DropBox impact the bandwith?

Dropbox doesn't affect mine, it shouldn't on yours either unless you're transferring files.

I'm not, I only have drop box and steam on, they are the only one who is requiring internet.
