Here is a quick fix, for the HTML crashes which happen often, and required you to type "vgui_allowhtml 0" which still often did not help.
First Step : Download the file needed here!
After downloaded, follow the Installation Instructions given.
---- Installation guide ----
Go into garrysmod/garrysmod/cfg/ and check for autoexec.cfg.
If you cannot find it, you can go ahead and drop the downloaded cfg folder inside garrysmod/garrysmod.
If it's there, copy the content of the autoexec.cfg file included in this archive, and then paste it in your own file located into garrysmod.
Remember to add a space or a new line before pasting.
---- Uninstallation Guide ----
Delete autoexec.cfg if your file was empty or wasn't there before installing this, if it was there and wasn't empty, delete - vgui_allowhtml "0" - from the file.
I hope this helped,
