Cant seem to install everything correctly...

I downloaded both zip files of the map and content and put them in their place according to the guide. And when i join the server the sky is buggy and i see purple & black on different things which i have apparently not installed... each time i join the server it downloads a bunch of models and material and what not.

I would appreciate some help with this issue because as it is now the game is completely non playable.

You need Counter-Strike: Source and Half-Life 2 to play on the v2d map.
You also need Half-Life 2 episode 2 for the v33x map.

If you have the required games, check if you have them enabled for Garry's Mod.
You can see that at 'extensions', you can find 'extensions' at the main menu.
