For some reason, whenever I try to join the server, it always crashes my GMod saying gmod isn't responding etc. I wait and it never fixes the problem.
This started just this evening 7 PM pacific west coast, I join this afternoon and it worked fine.
If anyone can find a solution to this problem I will be very happy.

This doesn't happen to me on the Fearless servers when I try to join but happens kind of often while I'm playing on the server, and that gets really annoying when I crash and when I try to join again because there's 40 people in the server and I cant join because of reliable snapshot overflow.

Open Library, right click on Gmod and select the "Set launch options" tab. Enter these without the "
"+r_hunkalloclightmaps 0 -heapsize 3145728 +cl_cmdrate 100 +myinfo_bytes 2000 +cl_updaterate 101 +rate 30000 -dxlevel 80 -w 1920 -h 1080 +mat_antialias 8 +mat_forceaniso 16"
-w 1920 -h 1080 is my default resolution. Use one that your monitor can support.
Credit for the commands goes to Soulripper.
