It was a peaceful day in Evocity, shops were open everywhere, business was doing great, no one was expecting what was going to happen.
All of a sudden, a giant black hole opened in the sky near the Nexus area, some sort of ships coming through it, circling the city. The Government was completely confused as they were completely unaware of the threat that they posed even though the ships were just scouting the area.

One of the police officers panicked and discharged his pistol at one of the ships, the bullets deflecting from it's thick armor. All of a sudden, the ships started making an unrecognizable sound, shooting a beam at the portal, enlarging it. The sky shortly gets even darker as some sort of High-Tech helicopters pour from the portal, having a minigun attached to them, alongside some weird bugs with huge legs wich have a heavy gun attacked to them. They started opening fire on any civillian and government in the street, immediately causing chaos on the streets. The President issues a lockdown as all the available buses take the civillians and government out of the city, making a refugee camp at the Lake, trying to figure out what exactly is going on.

Meanwhile, a small group of people manage to take shelter in the Nexus basement, trying to avoid the bloodbath and think of a strategy to defend the city.

They shortly overhear sounds of dropships sending troops in the city, slowly advancing to the Nexus top, capturing it afterwards. The city is conquered and the refugees are scattered and unorganized. Will they be able to combat the mysterious forces or be enslaved?
