Problem is that in FL the hit boxes and damages are messed up, you can't kill someone with a headshot even with an AWP, so it's pretty difficult to end it fast since it takes a few shots to kill someone. As stated before, there was a slight change in rules and now you can engage hostage takers, so it should be fine.

It's not a fearless thing, it's a GMod thing, and it unfortunately cannot be changed easily

I guess something like this could work, but since the hitboxes are bigger than the models, shooting the hostage taker would most likely kill the hostage too.

In the old community I used to Admin we had headshots, you could kill someone by shooting them in the head straight away with a pistol instantly.

Yup, there are still headshots on FL (at least there were with the CW pack).
How else would we be able to knock people out?
