Where are you basing your Roleplay on? - MrTreeGames - 04-27-2015
Hey everyone,
Since we are all roleplay experts and all differ from roleplay style; I was wondering where you guys are basing your roleplay on. Where do you 'learn' your responds to situations?
For me there are probably a couple things:
- School, a huge stepping stone for me. This is the place where I get my knowledge from. Not only the English language, but also my general knowledge.
- TV Series, Rookie Blue, The Blacklist and Flikken Maastricht (Dutch Serie) are my favourite TV series and I get the most information from these series. Rookie Blue is just absolutely great for me. Not only do I pick up some English words there, but it also shows me the American way to be a cop.
- Real Life, all the things I experience in my life are a big inspiration for everything I do on the server. In a split second you base your reaction in a situation on something you experienced yourself before. Your creativity will change it to your own style and there you go: Your roleplay reaction has been made!
So where do you base your Roleplay on? Is it the series that you are always watching? Or is it something else?

I don't know, normally I just get ideas of cool shit in my mind for a character. I don't really start RP's because I barely have ideas, when it comes to art my imagination is free but with RP's, it's hard.

I'm currently basing my character's personality, traits, and behavior from Sheriff Bigby Wolf, from The Wolf Among us, if that's what you meant.

I base it on real life experiences, for example every time I rob a bank IRL I recreate that
scenario on here, or every time I mug someone, or shoot up a cop car, or raid the president etc.
