...I have got given around £500 spending money towards a new desktop £700 at maximum, and I have no idea what computer to get with this kinda money so i would like your opinions/suggestions here!

Never mind, I got given a desktop as a surprise immediately after I posted this! XD

I suggest you edit the thread-name to something computer-related if you want this thread to be used for people who need help buying a computer/computer components.

Build your own, 95% of the pre-made rigs are over-priced pieces of crap compared to what you can get by buying components individually.
