Roleplaying with existing jobs

President: This is the highest job possible, you’re in control of the city. You can do almost everything what you want aslong as it’s allowed within the rules. Try to setup a good presidency and host events for the citizen such as a good speech or start a election for the next president when you’re about to resign. It’s important that the citizens like what you’re doing and that you manage the government properly. It’s a very stressfull job though but when you do it right it’s very nice to do so.

(Head of) Stragetic Response Unit: This is a very responsible job in CityRP you’re here to keep the peace in the city, but you’re not a officer. You respond to emergency calls where highly armed groups fight against the Police, when the police can’t take it anymore you’re the one responsible of taking them out passively or not. You have a lot of firepower and heavy equipement especially for doing that. But bare in mind, you’re not the bodyguard of the president however it’s totally fine when there aren’t many calls to stay at the nexus protecting to lobby and eventually the president. But you should not leave nexus and patrol around that’s against the rules. As H-SRU (Head of stragetic response unit) you’re the leader of the SRU team and give orders to them. Aswell provide stragetic orders to the team so they will not mess up during raids, you’re very responsible.

Police Sergeant: As a police sergeant you’re the sergeant of the police and by that you’re also the one responsible for your team and keep it disciplined, most people forget that and they most likely do what they want to do instead of doing their actual job. What you should do is keep good contact with the officers and eventually gather around for talking to each other and create a good cooperation within the team. That’s very important to keep the city safe. As roleplay you can start up a police departement with custom holding cells, meeting room and offices. That hugely increases the RP of the officers, and it’s appreciated in most cases.

Police Officer: This job is for keeping the safety of the citizens and keep the city peaceful, you’re a officer to respond to emergency calls (/request calls) and patrolling in the city aswell as in the outskirts. You need to enforce the laws and arrest criminals or people that are breaking a law, but the main job is to protect and serve in the city and for the citizens of the city. As for roleplays you can setup a border patrol but make sure to keep guarding it so it doesn’t block any car from entering/exiting the city. Also you can partner up and patrol around. You can basically do everything police related aslong as you do not wear suits without a admin’s permission.

Paramedic: Your job is to keep all citizens in the city healthy. You might want to setup a nice hospital where people can come by to heal their wounds or send emergency calls (/request calls) where you need to respond to. Keep in mind to never heal in raids and always keep doing your job and eventually setup a good roleplay to make it even móre fun!

Fireman: Your job is to keep the city clear from any fire. Reaching from car fires to molotov fire it’s your job to extinguish it. You might want to make a fire departement where you station your car make a small office and respond to calls from the station. It’s all up to you but I’d recommend you to make a nice roleplay as it’s a way more fun to be a fireman then!

Citizen: This is the ‘free-style’ play job. You can do basically whatever you want (within the rules). Set your job and you can start your own roleplay. Also you can just roleplay as citizen and buy a house eventually with a woman! As you see the citizen job allows you to do everything what you want. But keep it realistic and also within the rules.

Chef: This is an important and responsible job, you sell the food to the citizens so that they can live. But there are also other possibilities as chef. You can start off a restaurant or go fishing and sell fish to the people. Also you can just make a stand and sell hotdogs. Imagination is your limit. But keep doing your job and don’t wander around the city not doing your job.

Doctor: You’re job is to provide medical supplies for the people of the city. Medkits provide a 50HP healing for the people and that could be life saving. Also the smaller ones can be life saving. What you can do is basically start a small shop where you sell you’re medical supplies. Or be a doctor in the hospital with the paramedic’s. You can choose what you would like to do, but don’t run around the city but make your job useful!

Chauffeur: This job provides the citizens transport all around the city and the outskirts of it. You can setup a small business where the taxi is located. Or you can basically setup some points where people can wait and call you so you pick them up when needed. You can be a taxi driver to a bus chauffeur, though you need 5 RolePlay points for a bus, but you could always ask a player with 5 RP (RolePlay) points to let you borrow one. Most of the time people will do that. Just remember to keep providing the service you’re supposed to give to the people.

Gun Dealer: Your main job is to provide guns for the people of evo-city. For officers aswell as regular citizens and eventually others. Depending on the laws you may sell guns with or without a gun selling license. Keep in mind that by default you’re able to sell guns but the president could issue a law that you need to get a license for it. As a gun dealer you could travel around and don’t really get caught selling guns or just sell guns on request (/pm’s). You could also start a shop, but when you make a shop it’s a way more fun to use /me’s and follow real procedures for selling guns. For example ask for a gun license (Just as roleplay). As you see there are alot of opportunities for being a gun dealer.

Security Guard: Your job is to provide personal security for whoever wants to hire you. A president can hire you for personal security but also a citizen or rebel. You can start a small business where they can walk in a shop and hire you, of course for some money. Though being a personal security guard does not give you any special rights to walk around with a gun out or RDM someone because you think they’re a threat. You could also offer your security at the presidents office or somewhere where you want, it’s all up to you.

Rebel Leader: Your job is to take lead of the rebel members. You should help them plan missions and keep them all organised. They have to listen to you, if they won’t you can simply demote them but don’t demote for no reason or to let your friend join.

Rebel: You’re basically against the government, and you want to stay away from them as far as you can. You have no money and you dress yourself very poor because you are against the government and don’t take a job. As you’re poor you can’t drive a big BMW or a ferrari, but just a trabant or maybe a golf, also you cannot wear a suit. Suits and those cars are expensive and you’re poor so that doesn’t fit your roleplaying type. If you wear it is classified as FailRP (Failing in doing the roleplay you’re supposed to do), and you could get a punishment for it. What you do as a rebel is create a close group and house yourself somewhere far away from the city. To make money you might want to mug someone silently, again far from the government officials.. Maybe somewhere in the slums or in the bush. Who knows? The best way to roleplay as a rebel is to roleplay as a real rebel. Try to change the government in how you like it. But keep everything within the boundaries.

Black Market Dealer: You provide citizens with illegal supplies such as: Weed, coke, keypad crackers, lockpicks. Anything that is basically against the law. That means you can’t really make a open shop and advertise it because the officers will go after it and you’ll end up in jail and that’s not what you want. You could create a hidden shop, or a undercover shop by selling plants for weed that’s still a good way. You could also leave that and just advertise that they can contact you for some ‘supplies’ that way the officers have no idea what you’re actually selling. As a BMD (Black market dealer) you should stay hidden and avoid any contact with the police or any government officials, you might want to help the mafia or rebels since they might be very interested but keep in mind, don’t ‘base’ with them that’s against the rules.

Don Corleone: You’re the boss of the mafia crime family; Corleone. You lead the mafia of evo-city. You should take the lead and not let the others lead you, when they do not behave properly you could demote them but that’s a last case scenario and you should try to avoid it.

Corleone Member: You are a member of the evo-city crime family, the corleones. You protect citizens for money and run different businesses inside the city to make money and launder it aswell. The officers could always be after you and you should watch out for them, though if you are smart you could be very secret. In those shops try to hire some staff and pay them every now and then so they will not leave the shop. Meanwhile they manage the shop you may have a house where you live with the family. Possibly have a few contrabandous items in it such as a money printer or weed to make additional money and launder it in the shops. Avoid any contact with the police or government officials. You could have some trouble with the Rebel group, and if they do something bad to you, take revenge. Try to do it passively but if that doesn’t work throw a molotov at them. Remember to always have a reason to do it and never without a reason.
